The Altar

The Altar is the avatar of intentional connection across past, present, and future. They center embodied ritual and act as a conduit between the heavens and the earth. They stand at the center of the four elements while surrounded by an Ofo staff, a cowry medallion, a calabash bowl, and a sword.
The Altar reminds us that we have a multitude of ways to engage in ritual, veneration, and ancestral technologies. They teach us to remember and recreate frameworks to view the past or look towards futurity.
