Created in Acrylics, Ink, Posca markers, and on paper
Across the diaspora I see women, femmes, non-binary folks, and children in various head wraps. Sometimes sacred and spiritual, other times for function and fashion. With this painting I wanted to explore the power of African textiles and how that form can become one with the body.
