This braided and twisted bob is inspired by the one and only Maxine Shaw of Living Single. There was so much inspiration in seeing new archetypal characters being born on out screen from a show like Living Single. This mixed media piece explores that nostalgia and alchemizes that into a meditative use of black acrylic and sumi ink.
