Hi everyone! This is Odera and I am excited to share the first of many new paintings that are the foundation for my upcoming hybrid Oracle-Tarot deck. This deck is inspired by intersectional magic from the African diaspora, personal embodied mythologies, and metaphors from the collective conscious . Instead of the journey of the Fool, this is the journey of the Spirit Child who goes on a voyage to create healing and access points to those affected by the rifts caused by diaspora and colonization. I am in the early stages of creating artwork, and I am so incredibly excited to share the work that is being made one collection at a time.
